The Pritzker Early Childhood Foundation is a small family foundation established by members from multiple branches of the Pritzker family who share a strong personal commitment to philanthropy as well as a profound concern for youngsters in low-income families and needy communities.

Reflecting our conviction that vulnerable children deal with multifaceted challenges, our grants are wide-ranging, covering areas as diverse as health services, education, hunger and nutrition, and child care. To address these challenges, our grantees apply current knowledge about early childhood in practical ways that help develop healthy, well-adjusted, eager-to-learn children by strengthening the capacities of the adults who serve important roles in their lives.

As a Foundation and as individual family members, we value the potential of each child. We are excited to serve as a resource to those whose best efforts are aimed at fulfilling that promise, and we can think of no funding area that is more important.
